Movie reviews
I thoroughly enjoyed this epic movie about the prehistoric world though I think critics have not yet forgiven Roland Emmerich for making pots of money from “Independence Day” which was also trashed by some critics. And what’s even more unforgivable is that this movie is also making millions despite the terrible reviews. Should I feel guilty for enjoying something declared completely inane? Well, the story is compelling and characterization realistic besides the touch of supernatural is an added bonus. D’Leh is immensely likeable as reluctant hero who considers himself unworthy. And the best is the subtle message that life is about the choices we make. No prophecy can come true unless we want it to. The locations and special effects are impressive. Watch it once before you make up your mind about the movie.

Movie Errors
How ever good a movie may be, there are always a few loop holesthat can be found out even in the best of the works. Here are a few mistakes of the movie, which probably the director\producers of the movie could not locate, but sharp eyes of the viewers couldn’t miss them.
In the scene where David jumps to a glacier and is hit head-on with a pick-up by Griffin, they then jump into the middle of a guerilla war. The pick-up crashes and a driver is seen at the wheel beside Griffin. The shot changes to wider and when Griffin is seen exiting the car, the driver has disappeared.
When the 2 jumpers are in the base, one of them is playing a video game. In the game you hear someone say “Tank beats everything” which is quote from Halo 3, which is a XBOX 360 game; however he using a Playstation Dualshock controller.
When David meets Millie in the bar she works in, there’s a big match on (I think Green Bay are playing). At one point, an RB makes a sweep and takes a big hit, which the crowd “oohs” about. The next shot is a replay of this event, but this time, the crowd cheers loudly, as if something new had just happened.
In the coliseum, Griffin breaks off the hand of a statue with his bat then picks it up and holds it in his right hand while the bat is in his left. When he jumps backwards, the bat is in his right hand but the statue’s hand is gone. Griffin jumps in front of David and throws the statue’s hand from his right hand and switches the bat from his left hand to his right.

Review
Being a huge Sci-Fi fan, I was completely sold to the idea after watching the trailers. Plot is simple enough, a boy capable of teleporting himself to any corner of the world by thinking about it hard enough. What’s interesting and whacky about the plot is that on discovering his special powers, boy does not set out to fight against evil. Without giving too much away, this could be called the reality check, as the boy thinks only about himself and is an absolute selfish prick. He uses his powers to get him money and fun and may be love as well, without bothering too much about saving humanity. There is a scene where he watches TV news where a bunch of people are drowning and switches it off dispassionately, after a few seconds. To be honest, it’s no Oscar winning movie, not even one to stay with you for days but the special effects are awesome. I am not even sure if ‘mother’ angel was interesting but as indicated by the end, a sequel or two may be in pipeline. This could just be introduction to the greater things to come.

Movie Review
I am a huge fan of the Narnia books and movies. When I heard that a second part is being made I was really excited. After watching the movie, I felt that the movie actually missed out on many details that were there in the book. But beside the details the movie was excellently made and was thoroughly entertaining. It had amazing visuals, very good action and the acting part was remarkable. This part keeps up to the standards of Narnia movies and I hope that they make another part to it soon.
I was not very impressed with the story line but the movie had awesome special effects. Agreed that it is not as good as the first one, but I still enjoyed the movie and never felt that it was boring or was being dragged at any time. Definitely you can watch it once.
“The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” is a story of liberation and re-establishment with some intriguing aspects of Narnian history, culture, and mythology.
This one is more entertaining, exciting and energetic than the previous one. Especially the fight scenes, they were beautifully done. I don’t know about others but I found this one more entertaining than the previous one. Except for the storyline which was more political this time, the movie is great.

‘Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian,’ By Kurt Loder - Movie News …
2008-05-16: “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” is a kid flick of the sort that “Speed Racer,” the first bomb of spring, proved so expensively not to be. “Racer” buried a piddling TV cartoon under a digital avalanche of mad, eye-bashing visuals. “Caspian,” the second of the “Narnia” pictures, is old-school Disney, filled with cozily crafted sets, frankly theatrical lighting and golden-age moral values. Unlike the first film, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” this one is also a full-bore action yarn, thick with sword fights and clamorous, dark-agey battles. But there are no severed limbs flying through the air here; there’s barely even any blood. Walt would be proud.
