Religulous Movie Review

1. This is one movie I am sure not everyone will like. I don’t think Maher, through his this work, is trying to play unfair. He is just telling us to question our beliefs and see how factual or sham they are. He is just trying to tell us to question the rituals that we are following through centuries to see if they are relevant in today’s world. And I don’t think that questioning is wrong. Though, the movie takes on all these serious questions but is very funny too. Maher’s sense of humor plays through out the movie and entertains its viewers. I would recommend this movie to all, especially if you want to see religion from a different perspective.
2. This movie is for all those people who would like to have a different perspective towards religion. Bill Maher through this is simply trying to tell people to apply their minds when it comes to religion and not follow religion and its beliefs simply because you have been doing so from centuries. He is questioning whether century old rituals are prevalent in today’s world.
3. Though the movie deals with serious issues like religion, but it is really funny too. The movie will really make you laugh out loud when you realize how absurd the tenets of all major religions are.
4. This is one meaningful movie in a long time. The subject that Maher has dealt with has some basis to it. Maher has dealt with the movie in a very intelligent and sophisticated manner. The movie really has some very valid points. I would like to add that very religious people also would have felt at some point in the movie that they are being irrational.
