Synopsis

‘Get Smart’ opens with Maxwell Smart walking through a seemingly endless series of locked doors until he gets to a telephone booth that transports him into the center of CONTROL, a covert American intelligence agency, set up to battle with its immoral rival, KAOS. CONTROL is presided by The Chief, and Max is its best analyst, where he impressively deciphers suspicious “chatter” from surveillance tapes. When the CONTROL headquarters are attacked by KAOS operative Sigfried, it results in killing of many of CONTROL’s agents. Max is then promoted from analyst to field operative, the post he was longing to be in and is given the designation of “Agent 86.” He is partnered with Agent 99 and sent into action. He’s instantly attracted; she’s resentful about getting such a foolish and accident-prone rookie for a partner. The pair is sent on a dangerous mission to hinder the plans of spy syndicate KAOS, who intends to dominate the world.read full synopsis…

Movie Review

Get Smart‘ is an action movie, which tactfully handles the delicate subject of comedy. Though the movie is generally taken as an action movie, it succeeds in producing laughter, with Smart being in the eye of the storm. Steve Carell and Anne Hathway both come as a surprise and have done justice to their roles. As far as the storyline is concerned, it is very gripping and never will you feel that the story is being dragged. It has a clever storyline, with a romantic sub-plot. Overall, it is a thrilling action movie with good comedy. by: Andrew

Don’t go by the critic reviews. The movie is really good with a good storyline and good action. But I guess the comedy was the best part of the movie. I was laughing loud through out the movie. Both the actors as agents did a pretty decent job. It is a must watch, so go and watch it. Don’t stop yourself because of the critics’ negative reviews. by: Simon

I think this should be one of the best rated movies this year. I throughly enjoyed the movie. It had good storyline and good comedy. The jokes were truly funny and very clever. A movie with a different plot-line. Very refreshing and entertaining. Go and watch it you will enjoy it. by: Candiria

‘Get Smart’ is a wonderfully done movie, with two CONTROL agents who try to save the world and simultaneously manages to run a parallel romantic plot. The movie is actually a remake of the 60’s spy sitcom. The movie has some very good comedy and action sequences. If you too like me are a fan of action-comedies and watching movies is your passion, then, I think you’re at the right place. You can download this and many more movies from this site. Here’s the complete version of ‘Get Started’. This site is being updated hourly and all the latest released blockbusters are available to download here. I was eager to watch this movie, so rushed to theater after its release. Watching it just once was not enough for me, so I thought of downloading it and watching it whenever I feel like.

Well, I think no one of us is in mood of tittle-tattles, so let’s get started and download ‘Get Smart’.

Yes, go see this movie. I know sometimes a preview looks pretty good and then the movie stinks (hello, Indiana Jones?) but this one does not disappoint. by: Larry

Steve Carrel plays Agent 86 almost exactly the way he portrays Dunder-Mifflin’s Michael Scott. He comes off as basically well-meaning and earnest, and although a bit bumbling at times, his Maxwell Smart is thankfully not Don Adam’s version. Neither was this one of those “Naked Gun” characters who stumbles into success despite his incompetence; Smart has some hilariously bad moments, but is never made out to be simply a lucky fool. by: alex

Nothing brilliant, but a dependable crowd-pleaser nonetheless. I’d give it *** out of 4 stars. by: Micheal

Get Smart- Movie Goofs

When Max talks to the clerk at the bakery, the plate of rolls she places on the counter moves, depending on the shot.
When Max takes the equipment from the museum, we see him take keys, a .45 with magazine, and the shoephone. Later in Los Angeles when he pulls his gun in the truck, he’s got a snubnose .38
The Score of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony would not be titled “Ode to Joy”. The ode to joy is just the name of the tune, found in Beethoven’s sketch books, at the end of the fourth movement.
In the credits, Leonard Stern is credited as “Cesna Pilot.” The proper spelling is “Cessna.”
When Maxwell Smart is attempting to escape from jail, the radio in his cell is on. While he is fighting with the guards, it goes off on its own.
In the scene where Max is captured by Siegfried and Shtarker, a wedding ring appears and disappears from Steve Carell’s hand.
At Krstic’s party, Agent 99 has on heeled shoes, but when she and Maxwell are heading down to the drainage tunnel, she has on flats; then she returns to heeled shoes when they exit.
Agent 99’s white suit gets dirty after being dragged on the airplane banner. Minutes later, the suit is spotless.
Obvious stunt double when Smart bursts through the building in the vehicle.
When Siegfried is kicked out of the car on the bridge, the door flies off with him. However, when the camera switches to back in the car, the door reappears on the car.
At the time of the symphony orchestra concert, the program stated Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, and then an excerpt from Mozart’s 40th Symphony was heard.
When Max and Agent 99 are in Russia and stop at the gas station to steal a car, the sign on the gas station and on the gas pumps says “gazoline”. In Russia, gas is called “benzine” not “gazoline”.
When Max is free falling after 99 lets him go, you can briefly see a suit-colored parachute pack on the stunt man.

Towards the end of the film, Max and Agent 99 are in various different dramatic scenes in an industrial area, thus dirtying their clothes. However, on their way to Disney Hall afterwards, their clothing is in a clean, spotless condition.

Then when she has crossed, she has them on again, but we never actually see her take them off or carry them while she is crossing.
When Max is near Agent 23 on the helicopter roof pad, Max’s watch geiger counter doesn’t go off, but later, outside the Concert Hall building, it does.
When Smart falls out of the trap door in the airplane, they show an overhead view of him falling, shot from the ceiling of the bathroom. You see his body falling briefly before they cut the camera angle. With the speed of a commercial airliner being in excess of 600 miles per hour his body would have left the camera’s view within a split second of him hitting the outside wind currents.
In the scenes at the symphony concert, the orchestra is supposed to be playing Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. But in the first concert scene - a very quick snippet - they are playing Mozart’s 40th symphony instead. Also, in the movie, both the Mozart 40th and the Beethoven 9th are seen employing a piano (although only the Mozart has the piano audible). In fact, neither of these symphonies requires a piano - there’s no piano at all in the score of either one.
When Agent 99 and Max are fighting the guards in Kristic’s house, the hole Max and 99 used to get in disappears and reappears randomly.
The Chief flies in a fixed undercarriage Cessna aircraft. During some of the flying sequences, the aircraft is shown as a tail-dragger with retracted undercarriage.
When Max and 99 are in the air, they can be seen talking to each other. This is not possible (as proven on MYTHBUSTERS) even if you were yelling at the top of your lungs. The wind would make any noise unrecognizable, yet we hear them talking to each other just fine.
When Max talks to the bakery clerk, the plate of rolls she places on the counter moves, depending on the shot.
In the plane’s bathroom, Max shoots himself several times with the mini-crossbow: in the cheek, ear, etc. After landing on the ground, all traces of the dart punctures are gone.
Max and Agent 23 are fighting in the car scene near the end of the film, and Max is hanging out of the car door. In some of the shots from Agent 23’s POV, you can see that it is a stuntman instead of Steve Carell hanging out the car door.
