Movie Mistakes
When the red car lands after flipping over the limo, the front driver’s side suspension and chassis collapse from the impact, but in the next shot, the car is intact again.
There is a scene where Angelina Jolie aka Fox, is shown, I believe walking outside of the textile mill with her hair down and flowy. Then in the next shot, her hair is in a ponytail.
Trivia
Originally, a comic book by Top Cow Productions, written by Mark Millar.
In the office at the end of the film a nameplate is visible on one of the cubicle walls. The nameplate reads “J.G Millar” which is a composite of writer Mark Millar and artist J.G. Jones, on whose comic the film is based.

Over at Millar World (a fan forum), the man himself weighed in with an update on Matthew Vaughn’s version of his comic series, Kick-Ass, and says, “I hereby declare Kick-Ass as the greatest movie of 2009.” Pretty bold words for a movie that stars Nicolas Cage, don’t you think? Movie reviews
Wanted is unbelievably fast, full of action and has some amazing jaw dropping stunts. The movie was amazing for action lovers like me. I don’t know about the story line but I loved the action sequences and the special effects of the movie. Amazing Angelina Jolie, she was as usual looking stunning in the movie. I don’t know about the others, but it was a fun watch for me.
Whatever you say, the film has some of the best action sequences with some good humor and drama that will make you watch the movie again and again. Wanted is one of the best action movies, especially when it comes to bullets. With James McAvoy in the lead along with sexy looking Angelina Jolie, Wanted gives the audience what it wants, making them coming back to the movie.
The movie is full of two things, some deep meanings which didn’t make sense at all and the other was the fights which never, not even for a minute subside in the movie. Beside that there was nothing in the movie. It was total no-no at least for me. Well as this was the first American film for director Timur Bekmambetov, he should better come up with something good the next time. The movie is a complete waste of time.
Based on Mark Millar and J.G. Jones’ popular comic book series, the movie is actually very different from the comic. I guess the movie is full of action and does not follow any rules for that. Anyways, to me the comic was much better than the movie and I guess it would have been better if it could have been kept it like that only. Read more…

Jun 27 2008: Here we have a movie that is not a remake. Remember those? And while “Wanted” is a comic book movie, the director, Kazakh filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov, has wisely dumped a lot of the schoolboy nihilism that made Mark Millar’s six-issue miniseries a sometimes disagreeable read. The picture has other problems, but at least they’re fairly original ones.
Goofs For Wanted
Continuity: When Wesley Gibson has been tied to the chair and had his face punched, there is a clear cut on the bridge on his nose which disappears then re-appears in some shots.
Revealing mistakes: During the chase sequence in which Wesley drives the Mustang and Fox drives the C4 Corvette, a camera shot briefly shows Fox’s hand down shifting from above. However, it shows the shift lever from the Dodge Viper used earlier in the movie.
Continuity: During the first car chase scene, after Fox’s car drives off the bus, the back window busts out. Minutes later the window is reinstalled with minimal damage.
Continuity: When Wesley confronts Pekwarsky he pulls back the hammer of his pistol. On a closer shot, with the gun to Pekwarsky’s head, he uses the trigger to slowly pull back the hammer.
Revealing mistakes: When Wesley returns to his apartment to retrieve his father’s gun, Barry’s missing tooth is clearly blacked out.
Continuity: The tooth that is seen in slow motion flying out of Barry’s mouth after Wesley hits him with the ergonomic keyboard is clearly a lower molar, but when Wesley returns to retrieve his father’s gun, the lost tooth is his upper incisor. While it could be argued that Barry lost more than one tooth, it would be unlikely to occur since the teeth are in different regions of the mouth, and Wesley only delivered one hit.
Continuity: Just before Wesley and Fox jump over the roof of the train for the first time for training, Fox is wearing high heel boots. After they jump, Fox is wearing flat boots.
Audio/visual unsynchronized: At the scene when Wesley is told to shoot the wings off the flies, Gunsmith holds a gun to his head. When he cocks the hammer back, there is a sound clip of a gun being cocked by hand from the barrel, not a click of a hammer.
Continuity: The initials branded on the side of Fox’s neck (seen after she tells the story of how her father was killed) are never there before or after this particular scene. This is especially obvious during her initial meeting with Wesley, since she has her hair pinned up and her neck fully exposed.
Continuity: After Sloan curves the bullet, in the scene where Fox and Wesley are walking along the factory wall, Fox’s hair changes style.
Factual errors: On both killing orders shown in the movie is a statement starting in big letters “I Hereby Acknowedge…” which is an obvious typo.
Factual errors: At the train station is a door leading to an elevator with a text that says “An elevator with an operator” in Czech but the letters with accents in the word operator are wrong obviously translated on a computer without Central European fonts, which is a common mistake.
Continuity: In one of the later bullet curve training scenes, Wesley slices through the edge of the pig with a bullet, but in the next shot the bullet hole is an inch or so inside the outline of the pig and there is no tear to be seen.
Continuity: During the train crash scene, the tail of the train starts derailing (last cars first). However, in the next shot it is the middle cars that are slipping off and the back of the train is on the track.
Crew or equipment visible: When Wesley is in the recovery bath removing the bullet from his shoulder, his shirt sleeve shifts to reveal the puckered edges of the latex covering the spurting blood-pack.
Continuity: In the last scene, when Wesley sets up Sloan, when the camera shows Sloan looking down, you can see the cross made out with post-it notes, however only seconds before when the camera is approaching Wesley’s desk, you can see the floor but no post-it notes.
Wanted - Movie Mistakes
When the red car lands after flipping over the limo, the front driver’s side suspension and chassis collapse from the impact, but in the next shot, the car is intact again.
There is a scene where Angelina Jolie aka Fox, is shown, I believe walking outside of the textile mill with her hair down and flowy. Then in the next shot, her hair is in a ponytail.
Fox tells the story about herself as a girl and she shows him the scar on her neck. Throughout the rest of the movie the scar doesn’t appear anymore.
Wesley comments on how he needs an ergo-keyboard as a result of his repetitive stress syndrome, but when he finally goes off in his office, he smashes his best friend, Barry, in the face with a standard, flat keyboard (which he then hands off to a guy entering the building).
When Fox is giving CPR to the Russian, the amount of blood on her face keeps changing in different shots, we go from lots of blood on her face, to only around her mouth, and she didn’t have time to wipe it off.
Just prior to Fox taking Wesley train-surfing for the first time, she sits on the castellated wall of the textile mill, with her high-heeled boot visible; but then, jumping onto the train, her boot changes to a flat, block-heeled type.
Wanted - Movie Trailers
Trailer 1
Angelina Jolie: Wanted Universal Pictures has set Angelina Jolie to star alongside James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman in Wanted, the graphic novel adaptation to be directed by Timur Bekmambetov.
Trailer 2
The movie will be Jolie’s next, with shooting to begin in Eastern Europe in May. McAvoy will play a young man who discovers his father is an assassin, only to learn shortly thereafter that his dad has been murdered. The youth is drafted to follow in his father’s footsteps. Jolie will play an assassin who teaches the ropes to the wannabe killer.
Trailer 3
I’m familiar with the role Jolie will be playing, and I think she’s perfect for it. Then again, she’s perfect in anything she does really; this is Angelina Jolie we’re talking about. Although, with Jolie signing on to Wanted, I’m starting to get worried she won’t be in Sin City 2, which should start shooting very soon. That would suck.
Trailer 4
Having read the Wanted comic (I’m a huge Mark Millar fan) I can tell you that the movie is going to be awesome. It’s going to be a very different comicbook movie than most moviegoers are used to seeing. Trust me. At least it will be if they stay true to the comic. How’s that for a teaser?
Trailer 5
After he awakens in a hospital, a man tracks down and murders the man that left him and a bank teller for dead during a robbery, only to end up having the slain thief’s associates come after him in retaliation.
