Movie Error

How ever good a movie may be, there are always a few loop holes that can be found out even in the best of the works. Here are a few mistakes of the movie, which probably the director\producers of the movie could not locate, but sharp eyes of the viewers couldn’t miss them.

Audio problem: When Mad-Dog is preparing his meal in the plane, he is singing. However, just before he notices Yang’s people approaching, he drinks from his flask one last time and you can still hear him singing.
Visible crew/equipment: Crew member’s head is visible in the mirror at the back of the room, when Evelyn is playing with a sword. The head in the reflection turns and he smiles, as she jumps off the desk and moves out of frame.

Trivia

Rachel Weisz announced that she will not be reprising her role of Evelyn due to different interests with the screenplay. Later on, Maria Bello was announced to replace her.
The tomb of the Dragon Emperor with its Terracotta warriors is inspired by the real-life tomb of the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty. The mausoleum is located in Xi’an, China.

Goofs for The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

Revealing mistakes: In the Himalayas, a shot of a running soldier’s foot clearly shows sand, not snow.
Factual errors: They fly to the Himalayas in a Beaufighter, a WWII single-seat fighter and bomber, not a transport aircraft. The plane has the color scheme and code markings of a Royal Australian Air Force Beaufighter that served in the South East Asia Command, which included India, Burma, and Southern China.

Memorable quotes The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

Alex O’Connell: When I saw you lying there Dad, I’ve never been so scared in my life.
Rick O’Connell: That makes two of us.
Alex O’Connell: Your not suppose to die. I mean your Richard O’Connell, right? You get beat up, you get tossed around, but your always standing there in the end. I never really thought of the world with out you.

Are You Ready For The Mummy 4?
    August 5th, 2008:
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor wasn’t really the hit this weekend that people were hoping it would be, but it still might not be the end of the adventures for Rick O’Connell and company. Talking to MTV Movies last week, director Rob Cohen had lots of big talk about what a Mummy 4 might look like.
New Images From The Mummy 3
    May 7, 2008:
Universal has just released a bunch of very cool new images from The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Funny thing about The Mummy 3 though… we still don’t have a trailer for it. Lots of great stills, but no trailer. Odd when you consider that most of the other major movies being released around it and even after it, like The Pineapple Express, have had trailers out for weeks and months now.
