Synopsis
‘The Sisterhood of the traveling pants‘ is a movie which follows the lives of four best friends, their career adventures, their romantic disasters and triumphs, their joys and sadness. This one too, like the first one is based on the novel by Anne Brashares.
As the movie opens we find the four friends at the end of their first year in college and will be going on separate paths for the summer vacations. Lena will be going to Greece to spend summer with her grandparents, Tibby is staying back and plans to work at a department store, Bridget is going to a soccer camp; and Carmen is visiting her father in South Carolina. On the eve of their parting, as each of them takes her turn wearing the magical pants of the first film, they realize that it isn’t just distance that is separating them.
Movie is rated PG-13.

Movie Review
This is a beautiful movie that explores relationship between four friends. The friendship that they share is difficult to find these days and is above trivial issues of life. As the movie opens we see these friends traveling away from each other for summers.
But the four decide to remain in touch by sharing their experiences with each other as they always have-with honesty and humor. The movie also focuses on their personal development and the change th they undergo when they are in different situations and in the process realize their strengths and fears. They also learn to appreciate the value and power of their friendship, all over again. read more…
