Synopsis

‘Traitor‘ is a story about a guy named Samir Horn, a Sudan-born, Chicago-raised former U.S. Army Special Forces operative, who now deals in arms with Islamic terrorists in Yemen. We know from the very beginning that Samir is a devout Muslim and that, as a child, he witnessed his father’s death in a car bombing, one of his main reasons for being the bad guy. One day while he was negotiating a deal with Omar in Yemen, they are arrested and thrown into jail. Samir and Omar become close friends in jail and when his people arrange an escape, he takes Samir along. Samir then joins his terrorist group. He, then, with the group plans several bombings, including simultaneous attacks on U.S. buses, during the thanksgiving. Are they going to be successful or fate has something else in store for them?

After a long time we have a story that will make you think. Some very important topics regarding the terrorism and FBI have been raised. Don Cheadle has done an amazing job in his duel role of a good\ bad guy. All the characters are allowed to develop steadily with the plot. The script tightly interweaves two facets of terror and the story unfolds itself in a very exciting and thrilling way. The movie is exciting and full of action. Never for a second will you feel that the story is being dragged. I would really not like to reveal much about the story and plot and really wish that you guys should go and watch the movie.

I just loved the movie. Don Cheadle has become one of my favorite actors. In fact the entire cast has done an excellent job. The movie is very well written and directed. Throughout the movie you will keep guessing who the real traitor is, but never even for a single second a clue is given. I would recommend the movie to all.

This is a great movie, with a good storyline and a message to give to its viewers. The movie did a very good job by sending across the message that Muslims are not the enemy of the west. It’s the fanatics.

Recommendations

After watching the movie I was totally taken aback and since then I am a huge fan of the movie. The movie gives a clear cut message that there are no winners in a war. The movie also has some of the best action sequences for action lovers. The movie also brings back the memories of 9\11.
